1.EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Konica Minolta would like to thank you for the opportunity to provide a capability overview of our Managed
Content Services (MCS) division.
Konica Minolta has been on its own transformation path over the past five years, extending its services in
Australia from a print and print management company to 3D printing, enterprise content management
(ECM) and digital services. The ability to manage content across the enterprise from capture to ingestion
and the management of all types of information and assets is a key part of our managed content services
strategy. Complimenting this strategy is our digital services team helping clients to maximise consumer
engagement across all channels.
Konica Minolta’s MCS division has four specialist solution areas – Enterprise Content Management
(ECM), Digital, ERP integration and SharePoint. The MCS team has approximately 60 staff across a
number of Australian offices.
The specific benefits of Konica Minolta’s capabilities include deep and proven specialist expertise (locally
and globally) in helping clients to put in place strategies and solutions that enable organisations to
become customer centric, streamline their internal operations, create new business models and deliver
rich, personalised, and engaging customer experiences

2.KONICA MINOLTA INTRODUCTION
Konica Minolta is an industry leader in providing hardware and software solutions that merge standalone
office functions into an integrated office environment for the reduction in cost of document production,
storage and distribution. Our extensive experience in solution implementation and ongoing support is
demonstrated by implementations in some of Australia’s largest organisations.
Konica Minolta’s product line ranges from desktop laser printers to colour and black-and-white standalone
or networked digital printer/copiers through to high-speed, high-volume production document systems
and 3D printers.
Australia serves as the technical solutions and research and development headquarters for Konica
Minolta’s Pacific and South East Asia region.
Consistent with the global Konica Minolta Philosophy ‘The Creation of New Value’, our Australian
organisation is continuously evolving to create added value to customers. In 2015 we completed the
acquisition and integration of Knowledge Partners and Stonebridge Systems into Konica Minolta under a
new division called Managed Content Services (MCS). These acquisitions allow us to leverage a broader
strategic and technology capability, and provide solutions and consulting services to assist businesses
with their digital transformation.
The Konica Minolta MCS division builds on a foundation of core competencies in the deployment of highly
tailored strategies, and also large scale and complex systems. We are able to provide our customers with
highly skilled project managers, information management business analysts, application experts,
architects and developers.
Further complimenting Konica Minolta’s MCS strategy is the close working partnership with ERGO, a
marketing services company acquired in early 2015 based out of Singapore and Sydney, and alignment
with one of Konica Minolta’s five global business innovation centres (BIC) also based out of Singapore.
As part of Konica Minolta’s global strategic direction, we have established five regional Business
Innovation Centres around the world, to facilitate and accelerate the growth of our ICT services business
and deliver innovative services and technology to our clients. The investment into these BICs reflects
Konica Minolta’s commitment to surveying customer needs, continuously improving and harnessing
intellectual property to deliver value and innovation.
