1.EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Konica Minolta would like to thank you for the opportunity to provide a capability overview of our Managed
Content Services (MCS) division.
Konica Minolta has been on its own transformation path over the past five years, extending its services in
Australia from a print and print management company to 3D printing, enterprise content management
(ECM) and digital services. The ability to manage content across the enterprise from capture to ingestion
and the management of all types of information and assets is a key part of our managed content services
strategy. Complimenting this strategy is our digital services team helping clients to maximise consumer
engagement across all channels.
Konica Minolta’s MCS division has four specialist solution areas – Enterprise Content Management
(ECM), Digital, ERP integration and SharePoint. The MCS team has approximately 60 staff across a
number of Australian offices.
The specific benefits of Konica Minolta’s capabilities include deep and proven specialist expertise (locally
and globally) in helping clients to put in place strategies and solutions that enable organisations to
become customer centric, streamline their internal operations, create new business models and deliver
rich, personalised, and engaging customer experiences

2.KONICA MINOLTA INTRODUCTION
Konica Minolta is an industry leader in providing hardware and software solutions that merge standalone
office functions into an integrated office environment for the reduction in cost of document production,
storage and distribution. Our extensive experience in solution implementation and ongoing support is
demonstrated by implementations in some of Australia’s largest organisations.
Konica Minolta’s product line ranges from desktop laser printers to colour and black-and-white standalone
or networked digital printer/copiers through to high-speed, high-volume production document systems
and 3D printers.
Australia serves as the technical solutions and research and development headquarters for Konica
Minolta’s Pacific and South East Asia region.
Consistent with the global Konica Minolta Philosophy ‘The Creation of New Value’, our Australian
organisation is continuously evolving to create added value to customers. In 2015 we completed the
acquisition and integration of Knowledge Partners and Stonebridge Systems into Konica Minolta under a
new division called Managed Content Services (MCS). These acquisitions allow us to leverage a broader
strategic and technology capability, and provide solutions and consulting services to assist businesses
with their digital transformation.
The Konica Minolta MCS division builds on a foundation of core competencies in the deployment of highly
tailored strategies, and also large scale and complex systems. We are able to provide our customers with
highly skilled project managers, information management business analysts, application experts,
architects and developers.
Further complimenting Konica Minolta’s MCS strategy is the close working partnership with ERGO, a
marketing services company acquired in early 2015 based out of Singapore and Sydney, and alignment
with one of Konica Minolta’s five global business innovation centres (BIC) also based out of Singapore.
As part of Konica Minolta’s global strategic direction, we have established five regional Business
Innovation Centres around the world, to facilitate and accelerate the growth of our ICT services business
and deliver innovative services and technology to our clients. The investment into these BICs reflects
Konica Minolta’s commitment to surveying customer needs, continuously improving and harnessing
intellectual property to deliver value and innovation.

4.EXPERIENCE
Our customer list includes some of Australia’s best-known brands as well as a number of global
businesses. Our team of consultants have implemented information management and digital solutions for
a range of organisations from a range of industries including Government (all three tiers), Finance &
Insurance, Property & Business Services, Utilities and Transport & Storage as outlined below.
Konica Minolta (via its subsidiary Stonebridge Systems) has worked with
Chubb (formerly ACE) since 2010, and put in place its APAC technology
strategy and consumer facing portal solution underpinned by OpenText’s
WEM platform.
This portal solution not only underpins Chubb Singapore’s consumer facing
website, but it has also been extensively leveraged to provide many white-
labelled travel insurance portals for insurance partners on a global basis
such as American Express.
Konica Minolta (via its subsidiary Stonebridge Systems) manages,
develops, maintains and supports Bupa’s consumer facing website
www.bupa.com.au on a 24/7 basis with a dedicated professional services
team.
This is one of Konica Minolta’s largest and most complex engagements
due to the vast technical landscape we have to work within.
Whilst the projects themselves are classified, Konica Minolta works with
the Australian Government in the areas of digital transformation and
digitisation of government information using leading digital platforms and
techniques. These initiatives are closely aligned with the Governments
Digital Transformation Office (DTO) to transform how the Government
operates, ultimately providing better citizen services.
Konica Minolta (via its subsidiary Stonebridge Systems) has worked with
RAS NSW for the past three years providing strategic guidance,
development, support and maintenance services in various OpenText
products and other .NET CMS platforms.
In 2014 Konica Minolta was engaged to undertake a strategy planning
exercise that enabled RAS NSW to perform requirements gathering and
analysis for its future digital strategy. This led to a new digital strategy to
underpin all of its business areas including the Royal Agricultural Show.
In 2015 Konica Minolta also contributed to development of RAS’s social
media strategy.
Konica Minolta (via its subsidiary Knowledge Partners) has a long standing
relationship with the City of Sydney (CoS). We have provided a variety of
information management, software and web development services across
a number of projects. Our consultants work with the CoS’s records team,
IT Services team, and their software and web developers to implement,
upgrade, and enhance the functionality and integration of their EDRMS
and HPE Records Manager (TRIM) solutions.
Our work has included implementation of custom functionality within HPE
Records Manager to improve the CoS’s internal business processes and
supplement the product’s core functionality, and development of web
services, applications and administrative tools to integrate HPE Records

Manager with its intranet and customer facing website. The CoS’s current
search and notification system (which is built into their website) utilises live
integrations to HPE Records Manager developed by Konica Minolta.
The CoS has also recently re-engaged Konica Minolta to assist with its
upgrade to HPE Records Manager 8.3, upgrade and enhance its custom
add-ins for the product, as well as provide expert consulting to its internal
development team to further integrate the CoS’s customer records and
information into Microsoft SharePoint, their intranet, and the customer
service areas of its website.
The City Of Melbourne were looking to a strategy to manage its information
from various sources. Konica Minolta (via its subsidiary Knowledge
Partners) provided services to design and implement an Electronic Content
Management System, enabling the council to manage the high volume of
content received each year.
Our work consisted of the design and implementation of the eDOCS
Document Management System, BCS and electronic metadata as well as
assisted with the client rollout. Also included was the development of
advice and practical solutions for integrated services between eDOCS,
PathWay and AssetMaster. Further into the project, we provided services
to aid the upgrade the document management system to the latest
versions, enabling support for the latest operating systems.
Queen Victoria Market were transitioning into a new Microsoft SharePoint
system, which enabled them to provide high availability access and into the
cloud managed solution to its content for its users.
As part of the strategy, Konica Minolta (via its subsidiary Knowledge
