Safety
Amount of incidents will be reduced and safety will increase
because of the risk analysis and the clear communication
between maintenance and operations.
Efficiency in maintenance and lower costs
Field workers waiting time will significantly decrease.
Stability of work will increase because foremen have a clear
view on work orders with approved work permits. The control
room will also have a better overview on which assets are out
of order for maintenance work.
Improved compliance
This allows to meet targets set by different regulations on
work safety and workers protection. It also reduces the risks of
contractors being at risk and therefore liability towards third
party companies.
Current market exists out of many small and large players, with different
solutions (SAP, web based, SAP Plugin or non SAP). Most of them can be
linked to SAP to have a link to work orders.
Accenture has a partnership with e-Vision, which offers
the most mature digital work permit solution. For our
clients we are the implementation partner, and e-
Vision is the solution partner.

High quality data supports the
entire information value chain.
It is ultimately the foundation
for decision making and
actions.
High quality data interpreted and put
into the right context creates trusted
information.
Applying knowledge to trusted information
generates key insights and understanding.
Decisions and actions based on key insights and
understanding lead to valuable outcomes. The
opposite is true as well: remember the principle of
“garbage in, garbage out”: bad quality data leads to
bad outcomes.

Legend:
What is RPA?
Automation driven efficiency reduces transactional errors, while allowing knowledge based talent
to focus on high value judgment-based analysis decision making, translating to innovation, and
business outcomes.
1. Large Volumes
The operation to be automated
with the use of RPA are
characterized by large sets of
repetitive tasks.
2. Stable Process
3. No human
interaction
The operations are not changing
overtime and require same
sequence of work over and over
again.
No manual inputs, i.e. no natural
language processing. Standardized
emails can be send out.
The operations are characterized
by singe input and singe output, i.e.
no multi-variable operations.
The triggers and inputs to initiate
the automation are come in a
standard, pre-defined format.
No intelligent/human decision can
be automated., i.e. the process is
repetitive and follows a set of pre-
defined process steps
4. Pre-defined
decision tree
5. Fixed in- and
outputs
6. No Cognitive/

Breakthrough innovation workshops
Understand and respond to the issues your clients are facing, by performing a breakthrough innovation
workshop

Breakthrough innovation
workshop
With a breakthrough workshop,
we help our client think
differently. To become truly
digital, reinvention is vital. It’s
rapid creative thinking that will
be directly applied to the
business situation.
Discover Describe Prototype
Test Implement
Ingredients of a breakthrough innovation workshop
Challenge usual business, “the rules of the game”
“The electric light did not
come from the continuous
improvement of candles”
Recognizing trends
EXAMPLE: Why don’t supermarket offer lanes for
premium customers too? Loyal customers with
many items can’t use lanes for 10 items or less.
 Distributed energy increases capacity
 People want to be energy self-sufficient and
may disconnect from the grid
 More focus on electricity instead of natural gas
Co-design innovations
We take a group of participants through a rapid co-
design process, characterized by rapid iterations
and escalating prototypes to test and refine ideas.
The output is usually sketches, storyboards, and /
or videos, making the suggested solutions tangible
and easy to communicate, all the way to working
prototypes.
Identify unvoiced needs
EXAMPLE: Square
watermelons in
Japan. Small
households had to
put it on shelves, but
there’s a risk of to fall
off the shelf.

  • 13. 13 Vendor landscapeDigital work permit value proposition E-vision Digital work permit Safety Amount of incidents will be reduced and safety will increase because of the risk analysis and the clear communication between maintenance and operations. Efficiency in maintenance and lower costs Field workers waiting time will significantly decrease. Stability of work will increase because foremen have a clear view on work orders with approved work permits. The control room will also have a better overview on which assets are out of order for maintenance work. Improved compliance This allows to meet targets set by different regulations on work safety and workers protection. It also reduces the risks of contractors being at risk and therefore liability towards third party companies. Current market exists out of many small and large players, with different solutions (SAP, web based, SAP Plugin or non SAP). Most of them can be linked to SAP to have a link to work orders. Accenture has a partnership with e-Vision, which offers the most mature digital work permit solution. For our clients we are the implementation partner, and e- Vision is the solution partner. It’s rapid creative thinking that will be directly applied to the business situation. Discover Describe Prototype Test Implement Ingredients of a breakthrough innovation workshop Challenge usual business, “the rules of the game” “The electric light did not come from the continuous improvement of candles” Recognizing trends EXAMPLE: Why don’t supermarket offer lanes for premium customers too? Loyal customers with many items can’t use lanes for 10 items or less.  Distributed energy increases capacity  People want to be energy self-sufficient and may disconnect from the grid  More focus on electricity instead of natural gas Co-design innovations We take a group of participants through a rapid co- design process, characterized by rapid iterations and escalating prototypes to test and refine ideas. The output is usually sketches, storyboards, and / or videos, making the suggested solutions tangible and easy to communicate, all the way to working prototypes. Identify unvoiced needs EXAMPLE: Square watermelons in Japan. Small households had to put it on shelves, but there’s a risk of to fall off the shelf.
