Navisworks.
Specific Experience:
Associate Design Engineer- II Flint Hills Resources
Fluor PDH1 Debottleneck Project
02/2016 – Till now Houston Chemical Plant ,USA
The Flint Hills Resources, Houston Chemical Plant, PDH-1 Expansion Project plans to increase
the capacity of the facility to be capable of processing up to 245,000 lb/h of propane feedstock
and producing up to 200,000 lb/h of polymer grade propylene (PGP) products. The Flint Hills
Resources, Houston Chemical Plant site is located in the vicinity of the Houston Ship Channel at
9822 La Porte Freeway, Houston Texas. The existing facility will be modified for the increased
2. capacity. Equipment, Electrical, Control Systems Piping and support structure will be developed.
The Control Systems will be expanded by and the expansion will contain the capacity for the
PDH-1 Expansion Project. The detailed facilities description is contained in the Process and
Engineering Design Basis document A&ED-000-25-RPT-003.The facilities of the existing plant,
including the ISBL propane feed and propylene recovery & hydrogen recovery section as well as
the OSBL Cooling Water section, will be modified to handle the increased capacity of Polymer
Grade Propylene production.
Key Responsibilities:
• Working on Equipment supporting structure and exchanger foundation.
• Preparation of Document for Pile & Foundation design.
• Study of the revamp structures and foundation.
• Extent support to Structural Designers to achieve the desired targets within the specified time
frame.
Associate Design Engineer- II Suncor Energy Oil Sands
Fluor East Tank Farm Development
04/2015 - 02/2016 Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada
Suncor Energy constructed Plant 220 East Tank Farm (ETF) as part of the Voyageur Upgrader
(VU) Project, at Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada. The ETF was originally designed to support the
extension of Fire bag 3 & 4 with a portion of the facility called the Hot Bitumen Terminal (HBT).
The HBT was completed and became operational in the Q2 of 2013. Fluor to provide services for
the detailed engineering stage and beyond to include Procurement, Fabrication and Construction.
The site location is in varying degrees of construction completion. Large storage tanks originally
designed for other purposes are partially constructed, some nearly complete. Interconnecting
racks, piping and cables are also in varying stages of construction, prior to cancellation and/or
safe mode.
Key Responsibilities:
• Worked on SMT (Steel module transfer) philosophy
• Preparation of Document for Pile & Foundation design.
• Preparation of detail design document for Analysis and Steel Design of Pipe Rack and
Equipment Module.
