Frank - the real value is in CX engaging customers where, when and how they want to engage, which could be different for every interaction. Make it easy for the customer to do business with you and they will do more business with you. it is basically a benefit (win/win) from two sides. The Sales side that you mention above and the maintenance side which reduces the time required to maintain different tools for different Routes to Market (aka Omni Channel)
