Abstract
Facing a growing business landscape that would impact data and solution requirements, the
Exelon team took the opportunity to upgrade their CA PPM solution. With a goal of improving
response times and setting up Exelon’s Work Planning and Tracking (WPT) platform to take on
additional utilities, the team took a systematic approach to their upgrade designed to support
Exelon’s application rationalization strategy. Join this session to hear how Exelon migrated to the
latest version of CA PPM, while offloading large amounts of legacy data to an integrated
reporting structure. In addition, the team will discuss their annual process to archive CA PPM
data, while still supporting potential moves to newer versions of CA PPM, as well as how the
updated CA PPM solution now provides a work planning and tracking platform that could be
used for all Exelon utilities.
