Abstract
Versent helps companies get started in the application economy with APIs, the Currency of
Digital
How can corporations with years of investment in legacy technology possibly compete with
tech-savvy start ups with superior digital experiences? As a transformation partner with
specialities in CA API Management and CA Identity & Access Management, Versent has deep
experience helping traditional large-scale businesses to compete in the application economy.
In this session, Joel Wermut, Principal Consultant, will offer key insights and learnings from two
successful digital transformation projects: Service NSW, a State Government Department in the
Australian state of New South Wales, that makes it easier for over 7.6 million citizens to access
more than 800 government services; and TransUrban, a tolling and infrastructure provider that
allows customers to transact anywhere, anytime without having to contact the customer call
center. Joel will discuss how the projects empowered these organizations to enter safely into the
application economy, deliver improved customer experiences, accelerate time to market, and
lower their operational risk and cost profiles.
