Knowledge
Highly functional in EPIC for 6 years and Cerner for 2 years, provide training in a classroom setting and
at the elbow support on Go-Lives; implement, consult, and educate in the newest Epic and Cerner EMR.
Also as a Registered Medical Assistant I have 6 plus years of strong clinical background and 17 plus
years in customer service in both the clinical and office settings. As part of the OPS Committee, I
provided input, conducted research, gathered information, and implemented clinic processes by
recognizing an end-users training needs, clinical workflow issues, and providing feedback when needed.
From that, I train current and newly hired employees the appropriate policies, procedures, and clinical
workflows needed to be successful in their department. I helped to create end-user documents such as: job
aids, quick start guides, and tip sheets. When in a classroom setting I train functionality of the EMR
system vs. workflow.
