Getting Red Wine Off Your
Carpeting
Be as Quick as Possible
● If you don't want that notorious red wine color to stain your carpet
forever, you should act fast.
● Tending to the spill as soon as possible will help diminish the damage
done.
● For this step, you'll need to take a few paper towels or clean cloths.
● Blot the affected area with them repeatedly to remove some of the
excess wine.
● Just make sure that you don't rub the stain so the liquid doesn't sink
further into the carpet.
Remove the Excess Wine
● Now, you have to mix the magic ingredients (warm water, vinegar, and
dishwashing soap) into a spray bottle.
● Then, spray the stain and use a clean cloth to dab the area and lift the
stain.
● Repeat this process until you're certain that there are no traces of red
wine left in your carpet.
Clean the Stain with Water, Vinegar and Soap
Let Your Carpeted Floors Dry
● Finally, you just have to wait for the previously stained area of the carpet to
dry properly.
● You can follow the guide in the link to make sure that your carpeting will be
dry and good as new in no-time.
