Analysis of Finishing Faults Found in 1st Day
 This day total checked garments 10,870 pieces and total
quality pass 10,420 pieces.
 This day, total alter 156 pieces of total garments and 35%
of total faults.
 Total spot 168 pieces of total garments and 37% of total
faults.
 Total shade 21 pieces of total garments and 5% of total
faults.
 Total foreign yarn 87 pieces of total garments and 19% 0f
total faults.
 Total reject 18 pieces total garments and 4% of total faults.
 Total Faults Occur in Finishing = 450 Pieces.
Analysis of Finishing Faults Found in 2nd Day
 This day total checked garments 6861 pieces and total
quality pass 6550 pieces.
 Total alter 81 pieces of total garments and 26% of total
faults.
 Total spot 118 pieces of total garments and 38% of total
faults.
 Total Shade 6 pieces of total garments and 2% of total
faults.
 Total foreign yarn 94 pieces of total garments and 31% of
total faults.
 Total reject 10 pieces total garments and 3% of total faults.
 Total Finishing Faults Occur = 311 Pieces
Analysis of Finishing Faults Found in 3rd Day
 This day total checked garments 6645 pieces and
total quality pass 6370 pieces.
 Total alter 105 pieces of total garments and 38%
of total faults.
 Total spot 101 pieces total garments and 37% of
total faults.
 Total shade 4 pieces of total garments and 1% of
total faults.
 Total foreign yarn 55 pieces of total garments and
20% of total faults.
 Total reject 10 pieces total garments and 4% of
total faults.
 Total Finishing Faults Occur = 275 Pieces
Discussion of Results
Average Finishing Faults Found in 7 Days
 Total garments inspection 57,070 pieces for 7 days. We see on
seven days. total quality pass 54,353 pieces.
 Alter 809 pieces of the total garments and 30% of the total
faults.
 Spot 1316 pieces of the total garments and 48% of the total
faults.
 shade 148 pieces of the total garments and 5% of the total
faults.
 Foreign yarn 316 pieces of the total garments and 12% of the
total faults.
 Reject 143 pieces of the total garments and 5% of the total
faults.
So, these seven days, spot is highest faults and shade is lowest
faults.
Total Finishing Faults Occur in seven days 2717 Pieces.

Conclusion
 This project learn more about finishing section. By this project we learn
about various types of finishing faults and their remedies. In finishing section
we see finishing faults like Unwanted marks on fabric, Missed zipper teeth,
Damage Label, Button Threads Missing ,Pin holes, Water spots etc. We hope
this project on finishing faults & their remedies will help us very much in our
future career.
Thank You
