2. Adam and Eve were created in God’s image. God then placed them in the Garden of Eden
and told them, “You may freely eat the fruit of every tree in the garden— except the tree of
the knowledge of good and evil.”

sent them away from the beautiful garden.

pose nel giardino dell'Eden e
comandò loro dicendo: «Mangia
pure liberamente di ogni albero

non ne mangiare».
Tuttavia, Adamo ed Eva

the people to stop behaving
badly.”

voleva saperne, e per

nave stesse per
sfasciarsi.

notti il pesce vomitò
Giona sulla
spiaggia. Ancora
una volta il Signore
parlò a Giona: 'Va' a
Ninive, la grande
città, e porta ai suoi
abitanti il
messaggio che ti ho
dato'.

spit Jonah out on
dry land. Then God
told Jonah, “Go to
the city of Nineveh
and give them the
message that I told
you to give them.”
8. Giona ubbidì al
Signore e andò
a Ninive. Gli

reti e lo seguirono.

uomo che, costruendo una
casa, ha posto il fondamento
sopra la roccia.
12. The flood came and
the river rushed
against the house, but
it was built so well
that it didn’t even
shake!

un'alluvione e l'acqua
si riversa su quella
casa, non riesce a
smuoverla perché è
ben costruita.
13. But anyone who hears
what I say and doesn’t
obey Me is like a
foolish man who builds
his house on the sand.
Al contrario, chi ascolta
le mie parole e poi non
le mette in pratica è
simile a un uomo che
ha edificato una casa
sopra la terra senza
fondamento;
14. When the flood came
and the river rushed
against the house, it
was smashed to pieces!
Quando poi viene
un'alluvione e l'acqua si
riversa su quella casa,
essa subito crollo, e fu
completamente
distrutta".
