4. José Gaspar known as the 'Gasparilla' was set on his next adven-
ture to the pacific ocean, this time as Lope promised me to take me
on his pirate escapade. My duties were to cook food for the crew
and not to question anything. Lope would only come to see me at
night because if I visited the upper deck, these drunk pirates would
eat me alive. We passed through endless miles on the blue horizon
day and night. Till the day of terror, I heard gunfire, as I ran towards
the door, Mariana stopped me and said: " Don't go, if they find you,
you will never return." The gunshots followed by other 20, and when
the ship was smashed by theirs, the pirates gushing on our deck,
and then the noise of pain and the loud cries followed, I couldn't stop
myself and ran to look for Lope. As I stepped out in the pool of blood
and body parts all over the ship, I see Lope lying half-dead in a
corner. I ran towards him when someone grabbed me from the back,
one of the pirates of Britain Calico Jack. I struggled pushed my legs,
shouted, screamed, as much as I could but nothing helped. I was
just a weak body in front of these evil giants. The next time I saw the
light, I was in a brothel, being used like a trophy of victory, all night.
Death seemed better than this.

Don't kill me please, please! I am just a
slave. I am yours now; You are my
master Black Bart, please don't kill me.
"Go cook some meat to celebrate the
victory," said Frederick, black Bart's
navigator. I was alive; he spared me,
Black Bart is my hero.
