"Shortstop" checks in with continued low back pain. It turns out that she suffered a traumatic fall down a brick staircase 9 years earlier. "Shortstop" uses a heating pad daily for pain relief. {Important Links Below the Video} Unfortunately, "Shortstop" has developed erythema ab igne or Toasted Skin Syndrome from repeated heating pad exposure. We believe this change to her skin is permanent. So, to help our patient we are going to perform some trigger point injections and re-evaluate the original injury to her coccyx.
