KVH Data Center Services:
Colocation and Operations
KVH Managed IT Services span from traditional managed infrastructure services such as network devices, servers,
storage and security services, to public and private cloud-based offerings. These services are offered in KVH data
centers and customer sites, and are implemented by KVH’s highly experienced engineers.
Managed IT Devices
KVH delivers a fully managed service that provides the design, installation, management and support of servers,
routers, load balancers and switches in KVH data centers.
Combined with our network and facilities services, KVH Dedicated Infrastructure Services form the foundation for
your data center solution, underpinning the delivery of your business-critical applications. We provide end-to-end life
cycle support from acquisition, receiving, installation, provisioning, as well as operational support, fault handling, and
infrastructure upgrades to ensure that your infrastructure performs as expected at all times.
Cloud Services
KVH offers highly scalable private, public, and hybrid cloud solutions, which can be customized to meet your
needs. With flexible configurations and security enough for even the most discerning of financial industry customers,
KVH Cloud Solutions offer quality computing resources at low cost.
KVH’s private cloud offering provides businesses with their own isolated cloud environment that leverages KVH’s
high-quality hosting, security, network, and managed services. This private cloud environment can be hosted at a
secure KVH data center, the customer premise, or a third-party facility. Hybrid cloud solutions also offer you the
flexibility to leverage the benefits of both the public and private cloud to meet your needs. For example, a business
may adopt a private cloud for their core data and IT needs, and utilize a public cloud to handle excess data flow
during spikes in demand or data traffic.
Monitoring & Reporting
KVH Monitoring and Management services provide reactive, proactive and predictive monitoring to ensure your
business systems perform to your expectations.
We respond rapidly to alarm escalation from server, storage and network devices 24 x 7, and escalate monitoring
events through an ITIL process until they are resolved to your satisfaction. Proactive system monitoring ensures the
highest possible level of uptime and responsiveness. Predictive Monitoring pinpoints a variety of potential system
failures including pending hardware failure, memory leaks, and network bandwidth issues.
