- mac cauley mentioned the urban myth of people running out of a movie theatre.
- this is how we immerse ourselves right now. again strong reactions.
- demoing stangers a year ago to random people, strong reaction from looking around, especially seeing the dog.
- mark zuckerberg also had a strong reaction on VR, buying oculus and talking about VR everywhere
- VR headsets becoming available to a bigger audience
- videostitch builds software that is used in Cinematic VR, 360 video
- about VS, history, paris based, SF office, 20 people fast paced growth, cool projects
- again: strong reaction to Vahana VR. 360 3D live stream demo at Siggraph
- live stream pipeline overview
Difference 2D and 3D (stereoscopic)m which affects the pipeline tremendously -> next slide things to take into consideration
Talk about shooting footage at OC2
Making a high-quality and stable stream is difficult
