 Platypus is designed for premium beach resorts around the
world to offer their clients new and attractive diving experiences
 As a premium bespoke product, Platypus is also optimised for
individual ownership such as yacht or cruise ship owners. With
an average gross weight of 700kg, Platypus operates as the
ultimate yacht and cruise ship tender and is easily hoisted onto
deck. It also integrates standard scuba diving equipment and, if
electric, compact batteries which are easily recharged

Initiation to scuba & handi-diving
 90% of underwater work takes place in shallow water: aquaculture,
monitoring and maintenance of underwater energetic and industrial
installations
 Nowadays, scuba-workers never perform these underwater operations
easily. Platypus offers an ideal working platform to facilitate the
realization of numerous kinds of work
 Most of the seabed turns out to be in a deplorable state (bottles, plastic
bags, etc.). Platypus may also be used as a cleaning platform up to 5m
deep (combined with waste containers used by divers)
Professional work underwater
Philippe Streiff, Formula 1 driver in the 80s,
became tetraplegic after an accident.
Ambassador for disabled people and major player
in the conception and promotion of a system
suitable for driving, he has agreed to be the
Platypus’ spokesman to enable disabled people
to discover the underwater world.
 Platypus is a secure and easy platform to be used both over and under
the water: ideal to initiate inexperienced people to scuba diving
 It also allows disabled people to dive safely and easily being
autonomous. Specific features will be developed to accommodate with
various handicaps. The platform has already been designed to build in
these features
 Marine conservation organisations such as Cousteau Divers
Association and national research institutions are aware of
marine degradation, rising temperatures and sea levels. There is
an increasing awareness of the need to monitor and protect
marine ecosystems
 Platypus offers a working platform that can be fitted with
underwater cameras, lighting systems and other useful
underwater equipment to allow biologists to work more
effectively in and around conservation areas
Water coast exploration
Pierre-Yves Cousteau, the youngest son of
Jacques Cousteau, founder of Cousteau Divers
Association and Platypus’ ambassador, is tipped
to use the Platypus for exploration missions and
study of coastal area.
