To whom it may concern:
I have known Mr. Traphagen for the past fifteen years. During my Congressional years, he worked with
me and for me in several capacities. He is a very bright capable person and always succeeded beyond
expectations in whatever task that was asked of him. He is an excellent researcher, writer, photographer,
and communicator. He meets people well in a pleasant manner and is very adept at analyzing a problem
or need and then finding a workable solution. He is a tireless worker, never satisfied until the job is done.
I personally turned to Mitch on numerous occasions to take the lead, innovate, pull other staff and
constituents together and work it out.
He is very up to date on the workings and use of current computer driven technologies. He was the
"go to guy" for IT needs in the Congressional Office , both in DC and the District. He demonstrated the
ability to write, photograph, organize and produce "ready to go" TV and Radio messages dealing with
complicated issues.
