innovative STEAM programming.
Phase 2: Community Connections/Develop Partnerships
• Develop partnerships with local astronomy groups, museums,
universities, schools, and corporations.
• Explore relationships with NASA, JPL, and SETI.
Phase 3: Prepare to Launch
• Storytimes, Stargazing and Rockets, something for all ages!
• Robotics and 3-D printing… the sky’s the limit!
Phase 4: Reach for the Stars!
• “AstroBlast!” It’s a Space Party! Astronaut Training, Telescopes & Rockets!
• “Mission: MARS” - Mars fact-finding, museum visits, hands-on learning challenges, &
visits from NASA Scientists!
• “The Future of Manned Missions to Mars” –Featuring New York Bestselling author of
The Martian, Andy Weir, and Chairman of the Mars Institute, Dr. Pascal Lee, moderated
by NASA Scientist, Dr. Margaret Race!
• Our next step? Hosting a live conversation with astronauts on the International
Space Station! We are shooting for the stars!
