- 2. The background Medical terms related to blood often begin with the prefix Haem-. Haemophobia: An abnormal fear of the blood.
- 3. Haemorrhage: Blood bleeding. Haematology: The study of the blood. Haemophilia: Is a disease of a blood. Haemorrhage: Is a bruise of a blood.
- 4. From what place the blood can be formed ? Blood can be formed from the bone marrow by a process called Haemogemesis.
- 7. The body can replace blood when it is lost in small quantities, but when someone loses a lot of blood through a major wound, it can only be replaced quickly through blood transfusion.
