Beginning in 2012, the Game Designer’s Developer’s Producer’s &
Publishers Association held more than 200 events in & out side Turkey.
All of these events & activities aimed to increase the production and
marketing capabilities with the overall knowledge and expertise of our
members and our industry stakeholders.

● The number of Game Companies
established in the last two years is
around 150,
● The number of players in Turkey with an
increasing number of pandemic period
rose to nearly 40 million,
● According to the latest research the
percentages of players between 18-64
age group are listed as follows:
18-24 years old with 24.7 percent.
25-34 years with 33.4 percent,
35-44 years old with 27.4 percent

Part 2
● 10 funds established a total of 270 million
dollars in 2020,
● Peak was purchased by Zynga for $ 1.8
billion. As this was Turkey's first official
acquisition of an Unicorn. (Peak has earned
the title of the biggest venture in Europe to
exit in 2020, supported by venture capital)
● Rollic’s purchase was the fastest exit in
the history of Turkish gaming industry. (in
20 months around $180 million)
● Dozens of booming Turkish game
companies are developing & operating
Game IP’s reaching 10-20 million or more
players, across the global market.
