 It is very important factor in education.
 Generally denotes all those tasks that are
performed by the student.
 It is a plan for bringing desirable changes
in student behaviour.

according to his ideal (objectives) in his studio (
the school).The material is highly selfactive
and respond consciously”

 A term used to describe the unwritten rules
and expectations of behavior that we all
seem to know, but were never taught.

schools itself.

1) The way individual teachers interpret the
behaviors pupils.
2) The way teacher have different expectation of
pupils.

 Social relationship between teacher and
students is effected hidden curriculum
 It can contribute undesirable behaviour,
conflict or encouragement to others
 Hidden curriculum practices are
transmitted to students intentionally or
unintentionally
 It is evidence from the above, the concept
of hidden curriculum is a broad one i.e., it
not easy to tie in down to one particular
theoretical view points. Rather, the
concept refers to a wide rage of socializing
influences and processes, some of which
are inter related and other relatively self
contained.

Importance of Curriculum in Education

  • 2.  It is very important factor in education.  Generally denotes all those tasks that are performed by the student.  It is a plan for bringing desirable changes in student behaviour.

  • 5.  Coined by Philip Jackson.  Process that involves the transmission of norms and values as well as a body of socially approved knowledge.  People learn things that are not actually taught in the formal curriculum.  A term used to describe the unwritten rules and expectations of behavior that we all seem to know, but were never taught.

Rather, the concept refers to a wide rage of socializing influences and processes, some of which are inter related and other relatively self contained.
