Engagement state: Most of the reps fail here, as they use the same calling
script (One size-fit-all) and talk more, making the conversation one sided.
Finding Needs: Buying process has been changed and reps must think on their
feet by asking good questions and get in to a conversation mode to
understand buyer’s needs and objectives by debunking their interrogation
questioning list.
Next Step: This is the missing link in majority of the calls. The failure rate here is near to
80% & this is because of the manager’s pressure, lack of coaching and training
environment, reps don’t prepare for the next step where they want to take the call, as
they only prepare for the current call and once buyer has given an opening, they failed
miserably to direct the call to the next step. ©
