FLYTE is a design & innovation company based in Stockholm, Sweden. We
offer high-end lifestyle products combining new technologies with vintage
design. FLYTE proprietary technology is based on wireless power and magnetic
levitation. With a background in product design, interaction design, branding and
communication, FLYTE offers innovative design products that reach users needs.
We launched on Kickstarter in April 2015 where we raised over 600,000 USD in our
first campaign. Since then we have produced approximately 11,000 levitating lamps,
4,000 levitating planters and have several more products in the pipeline.
FLYTE stems from a solid background in digital media and interaction design. With
over 10 years of experience in digital media, electronics, software programming and
hardware prototyping plus three years experience in IT consulting
FLYTE is now planning to scale its business operations an enter mass manufacturing.
As the holder of two patent pending innovations, FLYTE is spearheading research
and innovation through a business perspective. FLYTE’s objective is to create an
extremely valuable business based on progressive art and design. By combining
people with technical ability, knowledge and creativity; FLYTE strives to become a
world renowned brand and producer of high-end digital design products.
At FLYTE, we think globally in order to maximize impact. Although our business
operations are in Sweden, our mindset is international and our market global. With
members of the FLYTE team in Europe, Asia and the United States, we have the
ability to see business from various cultural, social and economical perspectives. Our
offices are in Stockholm and Berlin.
FLYTE is a start-up venture owned and operated by Simon Morris, Daniel
Mascarenhas and Christopher Higham. Morris received his Master’s Degree in
Digital Media from Chalmers University, Gothenburg and has over 10 years of
experience in digital media, electronics, software programming and hardware
prototyping plus three years experience as an IT consultant in Stockholm.
Mascarenhas has over 15 years experience in advertising and digital media and
served as a PR consultant and strategists for major crowd-funding campaigns with
a specialization in branding and communication. Higham is a product designer and
cinematographer with over 15 years of experience in product development and visual
story-telling.
We sell innovative products that reach users needs. We also offer a wide range
of services across industry sectors and media. Our aim is to create a strong and
sustainable design company, combining technical expertise and creativity with
human needs.
Our target audience is tech-savvy consumers with a passion for design. The retailers
we work most with specialize in lifestyle, home decor, retail, luxury and design goods.
They range from boutique design stores up to world renowned museums, high-end
department stores and major electronics stores. Our specialty is providing innovative
products for a global market.

communicating these ideas to the world. We put enormous emphasis on telling
the story of Flyte and creating original content and advertising. Branding and

We launched a Kickstarter Crowdfunding campaign for FLYTE and surpassed our
target funding goal of 80 000 by 771%. We’ve identified a huge potential for growth
from our backer community. Our goal is to create high-quality levitating products and
customized solutions for products, companies, marketing campaigns etc.
We were the first levitating light bulb product in the world. As a result FLYTE has
acquired contracts from MoMA Tokyo, MoMA New York, MoMA San Francisco,
Conran Shop and Media Markt, amongst others, to scale its production on an
international level.
There is enormous potential for FLYTE and we have well-established experience and
tools to deliver intelligent and inspiring products.
