考试的另一种方式，是方位和地方的简易版; 给学生的handout的里面应该只有第一个有文字解释，其他的都是空格，这样子才能一环套一环；我这里的设计错误了，所以换成学生要在第五个clue的所在地签名字，表示自己找到了这个地方然后直接去第六个地方 学生总共要gather: 1. 5 colored paper 2. Sign their names on a piece of paper 3. make 2 videos (how to get to the final destination and skit at the final destination)

1. 这个活动时为了 80 分钟的课堂时间设计的，活动前把学生的 handout 给学生看，
并且解释游戏规则，测试手机的 QR code reader, 下载统一的 QR Reader, and
PLECO app; PLECO 的使用方法要提前跟学生练习，还有手写的功能，但是需要在
手机的 setting上面设定
2. 游戏过程两人一组，老师直接在终点等学生，不需要再返回中文教室，节省时间
（但是中文三的没有使用整堂课时间）
3. 学生必须要填写在什么地方找到每条线索的（阅读理解），用英文填写答案，然后
填写完全和正确的才可以得分
4. 老师在终点给学生按照寻找线索的速度给学生号码，万一小视频 skit 一堂课做不完
下节课还可以继续
5. 记住，第二个线索要藏在第一个线索描述的所在地，这样子才可以一个一个线索接
龙下去，在第六个线索所在的杂志里面是最后如何到达终点的 QR code 录音
6. 老师可以用 vocaroo.com 这个网站来录音，这个网站自动根据语音材料生成 QR
code, 非常方便，下载即可
7. 最后的小组 skit 可以根据您上课的其他内容自行更改，我中文三以前玩的时候就要
求学生表演《孔融让梨》，这次中文二是《做客》，如果这节课时间不够的话我们
可以下节课再做视频
8. 游戏结束后下一节课需要反思，把文档和听力内容再过一遍，这样子的话可以变相
复习；以后也可以让学生设计游戏内容，参考这次的体验，给她们创新的机会
9. 我做的这个版本 clue 5 到 6 的地方有个错误，不应该把 clue 6 给打印出来，所以我
在 Bill 的教室的外面贴了张 note, 让学生在 note 的背面签到，表示找到了这个地方。
10. 提醒学生需要阅读和听完所有的文字和语音指示，有的学生只读了几个句子就猜到
了地方，最后的地方不要贴 hint；还有藏的时候东西需要隐蔽一点儿（如果级别低
一些的学生就藏得明显些）
11. 学生需要在 clue 所在地点把 clue 的彩色纸条拿下来，总共要收集 5 张彩色的纸条，
在 Bill教室门口的大纸条上签字，然后做两个 videos
12. 根据实际操作，学生有时间在 80 分钟的课回到中文教室；但是活动开始的地点每
组都不一样，这样子不会互相跟踪

Tools You Can Use: your cell phone, online dictionary (such as PLECO app), QR code reader
(any QR code reader app will do), and a writing utensil.
You will start the treasure hunt with a paragraph describing a location where the first clue is
hidden. That clue will lead you to another one. There are 4 sets of duplicate clues in each one of
the hidden spot so take your clue and move on to the next place so you are not giving the other
team hints. Please don’t take all of the hints if you get to the first hidden spot first so other teams
can still continue the treasure hunt.
Please follow the instructions on each clue. Some of the clues are written, and some are in QR
code format with audio information. So, you need to compete with the other teams, and work
together with your team member to get to the final destination and retrieve the hidden “treasure”
and any tasks you need to fulfill.
For each clue, please write down the specific hiding location in English. Each clue is printed
on a piece of colored paper. Wu laoshi shall wait for you at the final destination!

Task at the Final Destination
Now you have reached the final destination according to my instructions. Hopefully you have
enjoyed the little exercise along the way.  Now:
Please perform a role play of visiting a friend’s house. In the skit, one of you will be the host
and the other is the guest. The host needs to greet and welcome the guest, introduce other family
members (pretend there is one), and offer food/drinks for the guest. The guest needs to greet the
host, show the host the appropriate gift, offer to take off shoes, compliment the house, and refuse
the food/drink at the first asking and take an option after the host’s several asking.
Please place your cellphone at a convenient spot to film your skit. The skit will be evaluated
based on the completion of different linguistic tasks in the skit and cultural behaviors exhibited.
The first team to return to the Chinese classroom with the accurate answers for the six clues’
hidden spots will earn the most points for this “Treasure Hunt” assessment.
