WHAT IS GOOGLE PLUS?
HOW TO SET IT UP
Step 1: Firstly, you need to have a personal Google+ account. On your
profile, click on the Home button at the top left corner for a drop down
menu, then go to “Pages” and then hit “create a page.”
HOW TO SET IT UP
Step 2: Pick a category for your business. Pick the right category that
perfectly describes your business or organization - Storefront, Service or
Brand. And then you will be taken to a page where you have to fill up
your brand’s basic information.

STEP 3: Begin customizing your Google Plus by adding a profile photo
and tagline. Choose this carefully, your tagline must be consistent with
other taglines you have used for branding purposes on other sites.

STEP 4: Continue to your new Page and edit your Page information.

STEP 4: You can manage and keep track of everything, just like Facebook and other SM
platforms. You can also link Google Plus with your Youtube channel.
WHY USE GOOGLE PLUS:
 G+ isn’t a space for temporary, limited, 140 characters updates like on Twitter. And its not for
meeting up with people like on Facebook. What makes it different is that Google Plus is
promoted by the biggest technology platform on the planet. So, whatever you do on Google+
will be prioritized by Google.
 Because everything you post on G+ is immediately indexed by Google.
Thus, influencing search engine results positively. We know this is huge for companies and
professionals, because the websites that appear on the first page of Google, and especially in
the first few positions, get 54.8% of all clicks from users, according to a study.
 Because entering the world of Google Plus means having a great deal of resources in one
single place: Hangouts, Communities, Youtube, Google, Gmail, Google Maps and other
dozens of products. Each of these was created to benefit and optimize your marketing strategy

business has to offer, and any other information you think they should have. Direct access to
customers so you can connect on a more personal level, encourage feedback, and ask for
reviews.
 Integration with Google maps, which enables consumers to find
pertinent contact information like your phone number, address,
directions, and hours of operation.
 The biggest benefit of Google+Local for businesses by far is that your
business has the ability to be found by many more people in the local
area when they conduct a Google search.
