WHY SENSOR FUSION
From sensing to predicting, towards more advanced user cases,
MEMS and
sensors are
enabling new
applications
with more
added value
• Sensor fusion requires many sensor technologies combined with intelligence for improved solutions or system
performance. With sensor fusion, the whole is greater than the sum of the individual parts. Sensor fusion also
combines data from other sources such as map data, bio data.

gesture recognition, etc.)
 Technology maturity
 Multisource availability
 Easy to integrate (No OIS)
 Lower cost than rear dual
