A survey of 1,000 California adults found that:
- 56% are already comfortable using artificial intelligence in some aspects of daily life, higher than US and global averages.
- Over half support using AI to deliver more efficient government services and provide quicker responses to questions.
- However, only 40% are confident AI would be used ethically and responsibly by the government.
