SIA’s Fourth Annual Army Commercial SATCOM User’s Workshop

The Satellite Industry Association (SIA) and the U.S. Army PM WIN-T are honored to announce
that Brigadier General N. Lee S. Price, Program Executive Officer for Command, Control,
Communications (Tactical) (C3T) will be the keynote speaker at SIA’s Fourth Army Commercial
SATCOM Users Workshop, on Monday, August 22, 2011.
This full-day workshop will be held on August 22, the pre-day of AFCEA’s LandWarNet 2011
Conference, from 8:00 – 5:00 pm, in Rooms 18 & 19 (first floor of Tampa Convention Center).
The event aims to link the Army end- user community with the commercial satellite industry providing
critical SATCOM requirements for the Army warfighter. DoD and industry leaders will lead in
interactive discussions focusing on space capacity and service requirements for Army SATCOM users, as
well as emerging technologies and applications that can meet shifting on-the-ground requirements and
changing budgetary and bandwidth realities for the Army’s SATCOM usage.
