These myths...
5. MYTH 1
These conferences are nothing more than
fun, social gatherings
Sure, these conferences are fun. But they are inspirational and
informational too!
NorCal Dreamin' has over 35 sessions led by Salesforce subject
matter experts. The keynote will be led by Mary Scotton, VP at
Salesforce. Other community conferences have other Salesforce
leaders speaking, such as Tony Prophet, Dan Darcy and Peter
Coffee.
6. MYTH 1
These conferences are nothing more than
fun, social gatherings
Socializing with people during these conferences is a part of the
learning and inspiration that you get out of these conferences. Many
times talking with others outside of the sessions, you learn the most
as these conferences have great information to share.
NorCal Dreamin’ 2019 will host a "Ask the Experts" session where
you can talk with experts one on one about anything Salesforce.
7. MYTH 2
People attend such events just to find
another job
But the truth is, when companies send their employees to a
conference like NorCal Dreamin', they show how valuable
they think of their employees to be. It is a form of
appreciation and that leads to the best employees staying
and growing within their company.

another job
The reasoncompanies avoid sending their employees to
these conferences is that they are afraid that their
employees might find another job and get better offers if
they connect with new people.

Majority of the Salesforce Community conferences
don’t cost more than $200 usually, and that too when it
is a 1-day event.
NorCal Dreamin' 2019, being a one and a half day
conference, costs $175.

With that price, NorCal Dreamin' allows you to gain
immense knowledge through several Salesforce-specific
sessions, along with the sessions like "Influencing through
Leadership" (a Google methodology that will be shared with
attendees).
