2. Olive Hill is a city in Carter County, Kentucky, United States, along Tygarts Creek. The population was 1,813
at the 2000 census.
History
Olive Hill began as a rural trading post established by the Henderson brothers in the first part of the 19th
century. Although Olive Hill was allegedly named by Elias P. Davis for his friend Thomas Oliver, there is no
evidence to support this popular contention. In 1881, the town was moved from a hillside location to the
current location in the Tygarts Creek valley, where the Elizabethtown, Lexington and Big Sandy Railroad had
laid tracks. The C&O served Olive Hill and many other places on the railroads Lexington Subdivision
(running from Ashland to Lexington, KY); C&O merged into the Chessie System which CSX Transportation
later bought out and after that CSX pulled up the railroad in the mid 1980's. Olive Hill retained and restored
a passenger depot as well as a caboose ("John Hop Brown" Memorial Park).[1]

Sulphur (French: Soufre) is a city in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 22,512 at
the 2000 census. Sulphur is a suburb of Lake Charles, and is part of the Lake Charles Metropolitan Statistical
Area.
History
Sulphur is named for the sulfur mines, which were excavated in the area in the 1900s. In this area, the
German immigrant Herman Frasch invented the "Frasch method" of mining sulfur, pumping hot steam into
the ground, liquidizing the mineral, and pumping the liquid to the surface. This greatly facilitated sulfur
mining. The elementary school on South Huntington Street in downtown Sulphur is named after Dr. Frasch.
The area was expanded with the addition of the Cities Service (Citgo) oil refinery. The areas of Maplewood
and Hollywood were developed to house refinery workers. The Sulphur area is still mostly dependent on
the oil refineries and petrochemical plants for employment.
On March 27, 2010, Christopher Lee "Chris" Duncan (born ca. 1962), an insurance agent, became the first
Republican elected mayor of Sulphur. In a turnout of 35 percent, Duncan unseated the incumbent
Democrat, Ronald M. "Ron" LeLeux (born 1955), 2,555 (54 percent) to 2,156 (46 percent).[1]

Two weeks after meeting my TF Brandon, I realized a love I had never felt before. I left my husband of 12 years, Our
6 children, the dogs and the house. I stayed with Brandon for a little over a month, trying to visit the kids at least
every other day. Even though I was only gone for a little over a month, I had never left them before and it really hurt
me a lot. I knew it was not the best decision to make, or the right thing for me to do, but I felt it was time. It was also
the best way for me to make sure I this time. It was bad from the start, I never should have stayed, but I did and it’s
all over and done. I will never claim to be perfect, I’m Human, and we ALL make mistakes. I’m only here to make
good on a Promise I made to GOD. That promise was to come into this experience, at this point in time, and help
others “clean up humanity” so to speak. I think it’s a desperate last attempt to try and save as many of HIS Children
as WE can…
