The stats – Over 550 participants (totally shocked by this figure) We received a high level of engagement from 12AOC’s participants. On the first day of the course we had 326 posts on the discussion forum made by 128 people. It was great to see conversations take off between participants as they commented on their own experience of using the apps.
Some nice quotes
The award – Credo Digital Literacy award.
Situated learning: Participants should be able to explore the apps using their own devices – so they are learning in a familiar context
Participative and discusive: participants need to be able to raise and discuss the apps – and look at alternatives.
Authentic: Examples should be from the HE sector.
Develop a team
Set some time aside
Support:
– use the discussion forum
- We also supported the course using the Twitter hashtag #rul12aoc, which added another level of interactivity.
