This animated video will offer
a brief history of Daredevil,
covering the comic’s canon from
1964 to present day.
Our character crash course will touch on how he lost
his sight (radioactive sludge), what inspired his heroism
(thugs killed his Pops) and so much more (like that time
he was possessed by a demon). This approach could
also be applied to Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones
when their shows launch.

This interactive infographic will
showcase the rogue’s gallery of
Hell’s Kitchen and beyond.
We’ll diagram the Kingpin organization, the Gang of
Four, The Hand and, yes, even the Ani Men. We’ll also
explore who Daredevil has faced via his team ups with
Spiderman and The Defenders (paging Doctor Octopus).
If interested, we could come up with a whole data viz
series on Daredevil and The Defenders.

The men
behind The Man
Without Fear
18. This one-shot documentary
will serve as an oral history of
Daredevil — straight from its most
iconic scribes.
We’ll sit down with the legendary series creator (Stan Lee),
the man who sent him to San Francisco in the 70s (Gerry
Conway), the comics iconoclast who made him dark and
brooding in the 80s (Frank Miller) and the writer behind the
hero’s current renaissance (Mark Waid).

20. This limited-run video series will
take a look at the rabid fandom
heroes like Daredevil inspire.
We’ll feature die-hard collectors of Marvel memorabilia,
notable cosplayers and those involved in the comic book
fan fiction scene. While we’d tie the mini docs to Daredevil
and The Defenders, we’d also like to acknowledge the larger
Marvel Universe (The Avengers, Spider-Man and every other
comic book movie you’ve seen this year.)

Heroes and
villains: who
would win?
22. This interactive experience will
settle the argument every comic
book nerd has ever had.
Thing vs. Thanos. Silver Surfer vs. The Green Goblin.
Dr. Strange vs. Mephisto. Our you-pick-the-winner “face off”
feature will pit the heroes and villains of the Marvel Universe
against each other. First we’ll ask readers to guess the victor
of a particular match-up. Then, once they’ve made their
choice, we’ll calculate the odds and show the outcome based
on 75 years of historical data (you’re going down, Stilt-Man).
