Actors License Justification
CSS Rider support

Sales Cloud While they need access to cases, I do not
see any requirements for Entitlements,
hence am proposing Sales Cloud instead
of Service Cloud
CSS Regional

associates
Sales Cloud Part of their role is selling and partner
management and having access to Cases
is important for a true 360 view, hence am
proposing Sales Cloud license. Because
there is no requirements for Entitlements,
am not suggesting Service Cloud

There are 100,000 riders (external users)
and they need access to checkout and
checkin their scooter. They require basic
sharing capabilities and also considering
CSS’s growth plans, am proposing CC
license.

Integration Requirements
CSS is a global company with presence across
different countries. Validating a drivers license
means we have to keep in mind different countries,
different systems and different response times.
Since the requirement is for real time validation, am
proposing that we use Remote Process Invocation—
Request and Reply integration pattern. An ESB is
paramount for this integration as the middleware
will orchestrate the calls to different country based
APIs based on the request from Salesforce.
Because we do not have control on the different
countries’ APIs and the response times, I propose
we use Continuation so that this request does not
factor under the long running governor limit.

Wrap
• Justification, justification, justification
• The Why is more important than the How
• Myth: If I explain each requirement in this detail
then am never going to finish on time
• Practice: Keep it under 30s
• Use the same framework for Q&A as well, share
your knowledge with the judges that you not only
know the solution but also why it is the optimal
solution
