Moodle was chosen as a learning platform because it was a familiar tool for teachers and in use in both of the organisations (have used for about 10 years).
BASE COURSE, general information about badges and how to complete each section
Divided into 4 sections, from bronze to platinum-level
Each section includes Intro, guides and a link to the actual course
KIMMO
in this screenshot, we are looking at the bronze-level course
It is divided in to six (6) sections
Copyright
Basic digital tools
Cloud services
Assessment and feedback
Tutoring
Internal services
Each section includes all the material and assignments needed to complete the course and the section badge, for example by finishing all the assignments from copyright-section, the bronze copyright badge is granted
By completing each section and getting all badges from them, the participant is granted THE bronze badge
KIMMO
Each section has somekind of Introduction, for example in video-format and
some sections are linked to each other and certain assignments needs to be done before others open.
Instead of being individual tasks, these are more like part of a bigger process. Mainly used in silver-level course.
Here we can see the common structure of a section: graphics, guide texts, links to material and a Word-template including assignments
The studying material and assingments usually consists of
Videos, Office and other documents, articles, weblinks etc.
Assingments are for example paricipating in Moodle-tests (like multiple choice or right/wrong quizzes), writing essays, creating mind maps, recording video and audio of the given subject and so on
