Currently they are earning over 1.2million Dollars per day in the US Alone.You can see from the data extracted from our APP IQ Service on the screen that they are currently generating nearly 400,000 US Dollars per month in China. Although this isnt close to the 3 Million Dollars that Locojoy are generating with two of their Apps per month It is still very successful.Interesting Though a lot of development and planning was made to get this huge revenues, they are not only making these revenues for a couple of days, no their growth is steady and still peaking each day.They are not the only ones making high number of revenues. Draw Something made over 14mln dollar so far and Temple Run 2 which was released Jan 15th is already over $ 1mln revenues within the first week.
We recently published a report of succes of new Apps and what was alarming the global data was how difficult it was for new appa to breaki into the top 200 in the revenue tables. The Data here illustrates The US Market compared to China You can see that only 9% of iphone and Ipad Apps managing to get into the Top200.Although slightly better for Google Play at 15%However in China it is far easier for new Apps to break into the top 200 with 22 % on iPad and 33% on iPhone. SO the key take away from this is what an opportunity lies ahead for new apps and new publishers in the Chinese Market.iPad APP being from new developers a % of revenue of top 200 grossing in March games gnerated by newly released apps. ‘New’ is defined as after 1 January 2013
Compared to the Rest of the World the Freemium model generates very similar share of the money . Of interest the takeaway for this analysis of iPhone reveenue for March is a bigger % of IAP revenue form Paid for apps which is largely accountable by the LOCOJOY pricing model that is generating ***** % from iappruchases of their paid app which equates to xxxxxxxx thousand yen per moneth
