Worked as a Teacher in the Pontifical University of Salamanca since 1994, as an R&D Engineer in Ideal Objects S.A. and iSOCO until 2002. Worked as a full-time Lecturer in the University Carlos III of Madrid between 2002 and 2008. I have been a visiting researcher in the Open Universiteit Nederlanden in 2006 and École des Mines de Nantes in 2012. Since 2008 I hold an Associate Professor tenure in the Dept. of Informatics & Engineering, University of Cádiz, where I was formerly the Director of the Libre Software and Open Knowledge Office.
