Now, Let do comparison between today infrastructure vs futureIaas.There are 6 reasons why you should move to using Hyper-V as a foundation for IaasQ. Pls raise your hand for organization which has start to implement Virtualization?Left – Current infrastructureRight – Future InfrastructureInfrastructure as a Service is an evolution in the way business will consume IT. There are a number of ways that IaaS improves on the way infrastructure is delivered today.Utilization – Today’s infrastructure must be designed for the worst case scenario of high demand. The end result is the low utilization of servers. With IaaS, utilization increases to take better advantage of the investment in hardware. Automation – Today’s infrastructure has little to no automation. One of the key tenets of IaaS uses high automation which lays the groundwork for things like self service.Server/User Ratio – In today’s infrastructure each IT administrator can manage fewer servers due to the lack of automation and other advances. With IaaS and its advances each IT administrator can manage more servers. Deployment Scale – Today infrastructure must be designed for peak scale only. With IaaS the infrastructure capacity can grow and shirk dynamically based on demandPhysical vs. Virtual – Today’s infrastructure is mostly physical. IaaS is uses more virtualization to increase utilization and provide dynamic scalePath to the Future – Todays infrastructure make the transition to the public cloud and PaaS difficult. Now, something to share. Microsoft has just recently release SP1 for Windows Server 2008 R2. Most of the time, when we look into SP mean for patches.But this time around, besides than patches- Microsoft introduce 2 new featuresDynamic Memory – which allow you to increase the density and increase the amount of memory based on workloadRemoteFX- which allow you to have a high definition of user experience when you’re using VM. What does this mean?It mean- in future you will see your server included with 3d card

Now we look into system center portfolio which provide system management on your private cloud.There are 6 products1. Provide incident/ change management which we do using SM2. VMM to allow you to manage physical and virtual machine in your private cloud3. CM which allow you to secure your environment by patching, os, software deployment4. SCOM which provide end to end monitoring to your private cloud. You can use this product to monitor network, storage and compute resources and application.5. DPM allow to protect your infrastructure and application.Lastly, SCO formerly know as Opalis which automate the workflow with Microsoft product and third parthy product. It does not replace any product but allow you to automate, orchestrate and integrate the product together.
