Open any web browser and type our URL: https://www.gab.ai
If you do not yet have an account, fill out this form
to create one. Make sure there are no spaces in
either the username or password fields or you may
end up with an error.

have an
account, click
here to login.
6
Since we are no longer on the Google Play Store, click here to download our Android App. You
may need to allow special permissions for your device.
We do not currently have an app on the Apple App Store as our submissions keep getting
rejected due to “objectionable content.” iOS users find it convenient to save our URL
https:/www.gab.ai to their home screen for easy access to the site.
7

the left of the Press and
Login links will take you to a

additional benefits unlocked
with an upgrade to GabPro.
More information on GabPro
can be found on Slide 36.

This is a shortcut to your profile. Roll your
mouse over your avatar for a drop down
menu where you can access your profile,
settings, or log out of your account.
This is your feed. This area
displays content from
gabbers you are following,
unless you have them or
specific content they share
muted. More on feed filter
settings later.
This is our ”Live
Topics” feature.
It offers curated
sub-categories
that users can
browse to
discover new
content and
what Gabbers
are currently
talking about.
9
10
Click on “See All” next to “Live Topics” to browser previous
featured topics. Click on the ”+ Create Topic” link to create your
own live topic and start your own discussion thread for the
community to interact with.
11
To open a pop-up with
additional information
about a user, from your
main feed, hover your
mouse over their

timestamp to take you to a
new page.
• You can click anywhere in
the post box to open it in a
popup.
12
On the left side of the page, located under the
Live Topics section, you will find different
Categories that are available for you to browse
and post in. These are different from live topics, as
live topics are constantly changing. Categories are
constant and encompass a broader variety of
things.
Click on the “Support Us” button to donate to
Gab and support our mission of keeping free
speech alive on the internet. This is a great way to
help support us if you aren’t interested in
upgrading your account. All donations are
currently dedicated to our legal fund.
13
On the left sidebar:
Under the Explore section,
you will find the feed filter
settings button.

Content on Gab runs on a
voting system. Up-voting
content is essentially “liking”
it. Down-voting is essentially
“disliking” it.
Click on either the up or down
arrows next to a post to
engage with it and “vote” for
that piece of content.
The numbers you see next to
the arrows represent the total
amount of up/down-votes
that post has received.
*Note:
• In order to use
downvotes, a user
must first
accumulate a
score of 250
points and have a
verified email
address.
• Downvoting
content costs 1
point
19
Click the Reply
button to engage
with other users and
comment on their
content.
Reposting will share
this content with
your followers so
they can see it as
well. This feature is
only available for
public accounts.
The Quote button
will allow you to
repost this content
and also add your
own comment to it.
20
Gab has editing! Find your post
on either the homepage or your
profile and click on the drop
down arrow in the upper right
hand corner of the post.
Click on “Edit post”
A window will pop up with your
original Gab and will allow you to
edit your post. Click send to save!
21
If a post has been edited, it will say “edited” next to the timestamp. Click on this
link to see the edit history of the post.
22
Hovering over the bell icon will display
a pop-up window with quick
notifications. If you want more details,
or to see the whole list, click on the
icon.
Notifications can be sorted
according to Mentions, Likes,
Reposts, or Follows.
Clicking on the Spam button
will show you all of the
notifications that you have set
feed filter settings for. For
example, muted users, words,
trends, etc.
23
Different colored dots mean
different things on your
Notifications Page:
Green = Content of yours that
has been liked
Pink = Content you have
been mentioned in
Purple = Content of yours
that has been reposted
Blue = Gabbers who have
followed you recently
If the dots are filled in, it means they are new
notifications you have not seen yet.
If the dots are not filled in, it means you have already
seen those notifications.
Click the “See
Post” button
to expand the
conversation
and see what
other people
have replied.
24
Click here to view the popular
page.
Content on the popular page is in real-time and is constantly refreshing.
The Popular page is your go-to source for the latest news and popular content on Gab.
This is where you can discover new content and users to connect with.
This is a list of suggested
accounts/people to follow.
25
Chat is now available for all users.
NOTE: Upgrade to Pro for the ability to add up
50 people to a chat room!
Click on the + icon to start a new chatroom.
Title your chat room and then click + again.
Add a user to your chat by typing in their username on the right and hitting
enter or clicking the +.
Messages will delete after 24 hours!
26
Searching for a username in the search bar will return results on the right side of
the page. If there are no hits this space will be empty.
If you know the username you’re looking for, you can always navigate directly to
their profile by typing their username in the URL.
Example: https://www.gab.ai/support 27
Click on the shortcut to your
profile. Here you will see your
cover photo, profile
photo, and bio.
Click the camera icons to
change your profile and
cover photos.
Tip: Profile pictures must
be a 1:1 ratio with a 1MB
max size. Cover photos
must 315 X 850 px with a
3MB max size
Using a cover photo with
a ratio of 1700 X 630 will
scale it down to 315 X
850
28
Every time someone up-votes your content, you earn a “Frog Point” and every time someone down-votes your
content, a “Frog-Point” will be taken away. Remember, downvoting someone else's content will cost you 1 point.
The sum of these interactions is displayed on your profile page in the leftmost column. Remember, you need a
score of 250 and a verified email address in order to use downvotes!
29
These tabs display how many
posts you have made, how many
followers you have, and how many
people you are following,
respectively.
You can click here to
access your settings
from your profile
page.
30
31
Gab How To: Settings
Here you will find fields to
enter your Name, Username
(without the @), email, and
short bio.
If you are verified, you will
be unable to change your
name, but you can update
everything else as you wish.
Unchecking the Email
notification settings
means Gab will not send
you emails when you
get any of these types of
notifications.
32
Checking this box will make
your account private. This
means:
• Anyone who is not following
you will not be able to see
your content
• You must approve any new
followers
• Private Gabs will not appear
in third-party search engines
• Private Gabs are only
searchable by you and your
followers
• Private content cannot be
reposted.
33
delete your
account.
This will delete
your account
completely and
you will forfeit
your
@username.
There will be no
way to recover
your account if
you wish to
reinstate it in
the future
You can also
log-out of
your account
here.
34
Add users & words you do not want to see in your feed to these boxes.
Users you mute will not know they have been muted and you will not unfollow them.
Any notifications you receive from them will be sent to your spam tab.
Example: I really like @support’s
content but I don’t want to see
anything in my feed about the
trend #bugfixes.
In this scenario you can add the
hashtag #bugfixes to muted words
so you will still see @support’s
content, but nothing about
#bugfixes.
This feature works for both words
and hashtags.
Click on Feed Filters: This is referred to as #SeeNoEvil and it is the tool we provide our
users so they can curate their feed.
35
36
• Activating the NSFW filter will mean content marked as NSFW will show
up as “sensitive material” in your feed and you will need to manually
opt in to view it.
• If this filter is not enabled (not checked), content that is marked as
NSFW will show up regularly in your feed.
37
Gab How To: Pro

NEW: Pro users can upload pre-recorded videos to Gab! 40
Gab Pro users have an enhanced menu bar at the top of their screen.
With lists, you
can group
users based on
interests which
allows you to
create custom
feeds.
Add a user to a
list directly from
their profile. You
can also add them
from the list page
itself.
41
As a Pro member, you have
the ability to apply for
verified status.
Click on the Verification tab
in settings to apply.
You will be prompted to
submit a valid ID and have
your real name displayed in
the name section of your
profile.
If you are already verified,
you can un-verify your
account here as well.
***Please note we have a small team and there may be a 1-2 week
waiting period while we process applications.
Please avoid submitting multiple times as this backlogs our system
and makes the process longer for everyone.
Our Verification Policy is available on Slide 62. 42
Category insights are another
feature of Gab Pro.
When visiting a user’s profile,
you will see the top three topics
that they post about most often.
This will only appear for other
members, and not on your
personal profile.
This feature can be helpful when
looking for new gabbers to
follow who post about specific
topics. It can also help you
curate your lists.
43
Click here to start a new
chat room. Type a title
of the chat room and
press enter to create it.
Add users to the
chat here. Press
enter or the plus
sign to invite
them.
Remove the chat room by clicking
here. Other users will instead have the
option to leave the room.
All messages are deleted after
24 hours!
44
As a Pro member, you will be able to bookmark, or save,
posts that you want to refer back to later.
Click the save post link located in the drop down
menu to save the post.
Access your saved posts
anytime by finding the Saved
Posts tab underneath the left
hand column below Feed filter
settings. There is also a link in
the profile drop down menu.
45
Pro users have
the ability to pin
an original post to
the top of their
profile page.
Click on the post drop
down menu and there
will be an option to
pin/unpin your post.
Pinning your post will
cause it to stay at the
top of your profile.
46
Pro members can go live on
GabTV whenever they want!
• GabPro subscribers can use
third-party apps like OBS
Broadcaster, Larix, and others
to go live.
• Streamers can choose to
broadcast both a live or a
prerecorded video/audio
stream.
47
48
Gab How To: GabTV
49
• In order to go live on GabTV you will first need to be upgraded to Gab Pro, our premium
subscription service. You can upgrade via the billing tab in your settings, or by visiting
https://www.gab.ai/pro
• Next you’ll need a third-party live streaming application.
OBS Broadcaster is great for Windows, Mac, and Linux systems.
Larix Broadcaster works well for both iOS and Android mobile devices.
• Click on the “Create Broadcast” button on the GabTV page
50
4. Give your broadcast a short title and description and click “create.”
5. Once created, you’ll want to take note of your unique Stream Key and
broadcast URL.
Example:
rtmp://67.205.156.19:1935/mytv/
This is your broadcast URL. This will not change.
rtmp://67.205.156.19:1935/mytv/UNIQUEKEYHERE
NOTE: The digits at the end
are your Stream Key. This is
unique for each stream you
create.
51
**First decide if you want to stream from your desktop or mobile device. On desktop use OBS, on
mobile use Larix.
Setting up OBS:
1. Open OBS and click the “+” sign under “Sources.”
52
2. Add the streaming sources for your stream.
Display Capture: will stream your desktop screen.
Video Capture Device: will stream video from your webcam.
53
3. Click “Settings” and then “Stream” in the OBS settings menu.
54
4. Input the Gab URL that you generated on Gab.
Important: Do NOT include the Stream key in the “URL” section.
Important: Make sure there is a “ / ” at the end of the “URL” section as picture above.
55
5. Input the unique Stream Key from the end of your generated Gab stream URL and
click “ok.”
Important: do NOT include the full URL link, only your unique stream key.
56
6. Click “Start Streaming” in the bottom right hand corner and you’ll be live on
GabTV!
Important: Once you start streaming you’ll only be able to go live once with each
unique stream key. If you stop the stream it will automatically be converted to a
replay. If you want to go live again, you’ll need to generate another unique Stream
Key on Gab and replace the old Stream Key with the new one in OBS.
7. Open Gab and go to the “TV” tab to view your own stream and communicate
with people who are watching your stream. Be sure to mute your own audio so you
don’t get feedback while watching!
57
8. When your stream is over it will be converted to a replay and can be viewed on
the “TV” page as well as your own profile.
58
NEW FEATURE! Pro users can now upload videos from their device to Gab!
Click the “upload video” link located to the right of the “create broadcast” link
on the GabTV page.
Name your video and
give it a short
description. Files can be
up to 200MB.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: FAQ’S
Q: Where can I submit feedback and suggestions?
A: Inside of Gab, users can tag @support in their posts if they have questions or feedback. We
appreciate any and all suggestions users may have and we take our goal of putting users first
seriously. If users have suggestions they can use the hashtag #GabFeatureRequest or
#GabSuggestions in their posts. Please be aware that we are still in beta and have a lot of growing to
do. All suggestions are welcome and we also appreciate your patience while we build everyone a great
site. You may also email us at support@gab.ai.
Q: Where can I buy Gab Merchandise?
A: We have Official Gab Merchandise available at https://www.shop.gab.ai
59
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: FAQ’S
Q: I’ve encountered a bug or an error, what should I do?
A: As Gab grows there will be bugs and issues that we need to work out. To report
bugs inside of Gab you can tag @support and also use the hashtag #BugReport. Due
to the many notifications our @support account receives daily, we ask that you scan
through the @support profile as well as the #BugReport tag to see if your question has
already be answered. If you can’t find the answer, then please notify us of the
problem.
Q: How do I change my password?
A: There is a “forgot password” button from the sign-in screen. You may also change it
from your settings.
60
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: FAQ’S
Q: When will there be a mobile app?
A : This is a top priority for the Gab team. We are currently in review with Apple for our
IOS app and waiting for approval. Our Android app has been recently removed from the
Google Playstore due to a violation of their hate speech policy. We currently have the
APK available for download on our landing page. In the meantime, mobile users can
access www.gab.ai through their smart phone web browser and save the link to their
homepage. This will enable gabbers to have easier access to the site from their phones.
Q: How do I get verified (a blue checkmark?)
A: At Gab we do not believe in using verification as a form of promoting celebrities or
popular users. We use verification as a form of verifying identities. Due to the high
demand, right now the process is on hold for everyone except donors, investors, and Pro
users. If you are a donor we will be in touch via the email you provided in your donation.
If you are a Pro user, you can apply via your settings.
61
OKAY BUT WHAT ARE THE RULES?
• We do take steps to protect ourselves and our users from illegal activity- we have
a few simple guidelines we ask our users to follow.
• Failure to follow guidelines will result in locking/banning of user accounts.
• Review our guidelines at www.gab.ai/about/guidelines
62
VERIFICATION POLICY
• We are constantly working to improve Gab and want our users to know that as Gab grows, so will our policies.
• Verification is currently available for donors, investors, and Pro users.
• If you are applying for verified status, you will need to display your full (FIRST & LAST) name in the NAME
section of your profile. Your @username can be anything you want. Having your full name in the @username
section will not count.
• If you are a Pro user applying from settings, you will be required to submit a valid ID so that we can verify that
you are who you say you are. Once your application has been processed, all records you have submitted will
be deleted, as we do not store personal information.
• We do not currently have a standardized policy for verifying personas/brands/pseudonym accounts. Only a
handful of these accounts have been verified after being reviewed on a case by case basis. However,
accounts that have a recognizable number of followers on alternative media platforms may be considered.
• Business accounts may be verified if documentation of company ownership and registration can be provided.

Different colored dots mean different things on your Notifications Page: Green = Content of yours that has been liked Pink = Content you have been mentioned in Purple = Content of yours that has been reposted Blue = Gabbers who have followed you recently If the dots are filled in, it means they are new notifications you have not seen yet. In this scenario you can add the hashtag #bugfixes to muted words so you will still see @support’s content, but nothing about #bugfixes. This feature works for both words and hashtags. Click on Feed Filters: This is referred to as #SeeNoEvil and it is the tool we provide our users so they can curate their feed. 35
  • 36. 36 • Activating the NSFW filter will mean content marked as NSFW will show up as “sensitive material” in your feed and you will need to manually opt in to view it. • If this filter is not enabled (not checked), content that is marked as NSFW will show up regularly in your feed.

  • 50. 50 4. Give your broadcast a short title and description and click “create.” 5. Once created, you’ll want to take note of your unique Stream Key and broadcast URL. • 59. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: FAQ’S Q: Where can I submit feedback and suggestions? A: Inside of Gab, users can tag @support in their posts if they have questions or feedback. We appreciate any and all suggestions users may have and we take our goal of putting users first seriously. If users have suggestions they can use the hashtag #GabFeatureRequest or #GabSuggestions in their posts. Please be aware that we are still in beta and have a lot of growing to do. All suggestions are welcome and we also appreciate your patience while we build everyone a great site. You may also email us at support@gab.ai. Q: Where can I buy Gab Merchandise? A: We have Official Gab Merchandise available at https://www.shop.gab.ai 59
  • 60. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: FAQ’S Q: I’ve encountered a bug or an error, what should I do? A: As Gab grows there will be bugs and issues that we need to work out. To report bugs inside of Gab you can tag @support and also use the hashtag #BugReport. Due to the many notifications our @support account receives daily, we ask that you scan through the @support profile as well as the #BugReport tag to see if your question has already be answered. If you can’t find the answer, then please notify us of the problem. Q: How do I change my password? A: There is a “forgot password” button from the sign-in screen. You may also change it from your settings. 60
  • 61. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: FAQ’S Q: When will there be a mobile app? A : This is a top priority for the Gab team. We are currently in review with Apple for our IOS app and waiting for approval. Our Android app has been recently removed from the Google Playstore due to a violation of their hate speech policy. We currently have the APK available for download on our landing page. In the meantime, mobile users can access www.gab.ai through their smart phone web browser and save the link to their homepage. This will enable gabbers to have easier access to the site from their phones. Q: How do I get verified (a blue checkmark?) A: At Gab we do not believe in using verification as a form of promoting celebrities or popular users. We use verification as a form of verifying identities. Due to the high demand, right now the process is on hold for everyone except donors, investors, and Pro users. If you are a donor we will be in touch via the email you provided in your donation. If you are a Pro user, you can apply via your settings. 61
  • 62. OKAY BUT WHAT ARE THE RULES? • We do take steps to protect ourselves and our users from illegal activity- we have a few simple guidelines we ask our users to follow. • Failure to follow guidelines will result in locking/banning of user accounts. • Review our guidelines at www.gab.ai/about/guidelines 62
  • 63. VERIFICATION POLICY • We are constantly working to improve Gab and want our users to know that as Gab grows, so will our policies. • Verification is currently available for donors, investors, and Pro users. • If you are applying for verified status, you will need to display your full (FIRST & LAST) name in the NAME section of your profile. Your @username can be anything you want. Having your full name in the @username section will not count. • If you are a Pro user applying from settings, you will be required to submit a valid ID so that we can verify that you are who you say you are. Once your application has been processed, all records you have submitted will be deleted, as we do not store personal information. • We do not currently have a standardized policy for verifying personas/brands/pseudonym accounts. Only a handful of these accounts have been verified after being reviewed on a case by case basis. However, accounts that have a recognizable number of followers on alternative media platforms may be considered. • Business accounts may be verified if documentation of company ownership and registration can be provided. 63
