About Jacqueline Gallo is a doctoral student at the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge. She earned a second Master’s Degree in Education studying Research Design and Methodology at the University of Oxford. Her Master’s dissertation explores through ethnographic methods and writing one American Catholic missionary orphanage in Kenya that provides safe community living and opportunity to attend school. The Master’s dissertation is a stepping stone for her doctoral studies to construct deeper knowledge and envision a new values debate in the under-researched world of contemporary Catholic missionaries in East Africa.
