5. The most concerning issue in my
community is the lack of opportunity within
it. There are very few job openings and
community centers are non existent. Due
to the lack of these institutions there is no
positive structure within the community,
thus resulting in the influx of crime.
6. There are several reasons why I have joined the
icstars intern program, reason number one being
the lack of opportunity in my community. I believe
that knowledge is nothing without proper execution
so once I obtain the tech and leadership skills I will
develop over the next four months, I will educate
others so that they too can spread the knowledge
to others. The other reason I have decided to join
icstars is because my field of studies is
communication and the program offers the perfect
skill set for my career path.
