1. Truck driver
This job is quite tiring as dangerous, depending
on both the cargo to be transported, and the
distance to the point of delivery. My paternal
grandfather, dedicated to freight traveling across
the island, transporting any kind of material, but
not dangerous ones.
Today and before, this work is primarily made up
by men, the number of women working in this job
is quite low.
Did you know that the truck driver himself is the
one who is responsible for the inspection of the
truck both for care or mechanical issues safe
operation?
Did you know that truckers have to cross some
countries to reach the point of delivery?

2.  Manufacturer of leather goods
 This job is in my opinion, quite hard, since everything is
made by hand and it takes practice.
 You can imagine how old it is. Many years ago men
worked the skins by hand, both for clothing or other
objects. My maternal grandfather dealt with this task at
home.
 I would say that this work may be taken on by women
and men, but taking into account the mentality of our
ancestors I would say at first this job was women’s
job.
