Solving Challenges with the Sharing Economy What if you don’t have a car, a extra room, a drill, or anything else to share? Does that mean you are out of the sharing economy world? If it was true up until now, today has changed, and that’s because of TRK. So, what does each one of us have to share, indiscriminately and regardless of where you come from? The answer is: TIME On TRK you trade your skills in exchange of time units. Imagine a community where money is replaced by time, and where 1 unit of time has the same value for everyone. TRK stimulates the skills and talents of everyone, and overall, it ignites those latent talents that we never really have the chance to share, especially if you have a 9-5 job . In fact TRK is waking up all those idle resources, like those of skilled retirees, non employed people, or young graduates that are struggling to find their position in the work force (Youth unemployment’s rate are a little scary, in NYC we reached 30%, and in some European countries, like Spain it’s over 70%….) We really believe we’ve created a wonderful complementary system that keeps people active, and through skill sharing, you can start building an online reputation (that nowadays is becoming a real asset). A quick example: the other day a 65 year old Graphic Designer in NYC offered his help to a 19 year old User in Casablanca, Morocco to design a flyer. By offering his service he earned 3 hours that he eventually spent to pay for a car ride from NYC to Philadelphia. TRK is not reinventing the wheel, in fact, in small communities, these transactions of mutual help have been organically happening for ever. What we did was to build the best platform to easily bridge all those communities around the world and easily solve our daily challenges. But what the example really shows it’s the endless potential of this platform: the cross-continentality, the cross-age difference, the cross-sociality, for us it’s just a dream come true, because those type of exchanges simply were not happening before TRK.
