2. Explorer: question, search, ask, record
• Why is it? How can it do that?
– You’re a general, also a soldier.
• Google it!
– Most problems are just problems for yourself.
• Prepare yourself before asking
– Cherish every chance of asking others.
• Documentation, technical report, wiki
– For yourself, and for others!
3. Coder: try, practise, improve
• Stop preparing! Just do it!
– It is a BAD habit of reading without doing.
• Deny it and reconstruct it
– Merely launching is not enough!
– Coder -> Designer -> Architect
• You’re never the best, but could be better
– Learn the methodology
– Make your code modulized, portable, easy reading
4. Writer: read, view, abstract, stylize
• Should first be an insightful reader
– Just dig into GOOD papers. Forget bad ones.
– Learn the writing: logicality & literature
• Don’t be too urgent to pick up details
– Skeleton is significant!
• Concepts, other than your code
– You’re wrapping and selling your work, not just
describing it.
• Paper work
– Handle your English first!
– Develop good habits of writing and drawing
