Hippocampal sclerosis of aging (HS–aging) is prevalent in people of advance age, manifests with distinct neuropathological properties, and can be
present with or without other dementia causes and vascular diseases [1].
Although HS–aging is poorly understood, this phenomena may describe a proportion of non–AD dementia [2]. The prevalence of HS–aging pathology
ranges from 5 to 30% in older people [3–6]. HS–aging is generally diagnosed postmortem by the presence of TARDNA binding protein 43 (TDP–43).
The clinical signs and symptoms of HS–aging are similar to those of AD with amnestic memory deficits [7, 8]. Because of the overlapping
symptomology, HS–aging is often clinically misdiagnosed as AD [7–9]. AD is characterized by accumulation of amyloid plaques and neurofibrillary
tangles [10], while HS–aging is pathologically characterized by neuronal loss with gliosis in the subiculum and Cornu Ammonis area 1 (CA1) region
of the hippocampus, which can occur unilaterally or bilaterally [6, 7].
Genetic risk factors for HS–aging have been recently identified. Unlike AD, the apolipoprotein E4 (APOE4) genotype is not a risk factor for

Portability
Many properties of our prototype contributed to its portability. The electrical hardware housing structure for our prototype measured in at 7.375" x
6.375" x 5.000", which allowed for a small yet fully functional device. These relatively small dimensions allowed us to easily transport our prototype
without concern of having to make accommodations for its size. Our prototype was composed of simple PVC plastic sheets. We cut these sheets to the
desired dimensions and attached them using bent aluminum sheet metal. We used 6–32 threaded nuts and bolts to fasten the metal angle brackets to
the PVC sheets. This combination of materials and fasteners used to create the housing structure for our electrical components made for a strong, yet
lightweight prototype. This strength allowed for our structure to be free standing and added a component of durability without adding to the size or
weight significantly. Also, this housing structure contained all of our wires and components meaning that there were no extraneous pieces protruding
from the structure. This uniform structure kept components from getting snagged by outside materials during transport. By producing the prototype
from these materials at the given dimensions, we were able to create a prototype structure that displayed durability, strength, and functionality while
remaining quite portable.

This paper will present the degradation of solar cell performance when exposed to solar wind in space, particularly in the Van Allen belt region. Also,
solar cell theory is mathematically modeled and described using Matlab simulation software accompanied by the SRIM software to generate the
targeting data. Follow with the degradation modeling of Si, InGaP/GaAs/Ge triple–junction space solar cells when are exposed to high energy charged
particles, especially protons and electrons in the Mega–electron–Volt range. In this model, carrier removal rate of the base layer and damage coefficient
of minority carrier diffusion length in each sub–cell are considered as radiation degradation parameters. In addition, this paper will present the status of
high radiation–resistant solar cells made from Si, InGaP/GaAs/Ge for space application to guarantee the successful operation of the satellite.

Nowadays, renewable energy resources play an important role in replacing conventional fossil fuel energy resources. Photovoltaic energy is one of the
very promising renewable energy resources which grew rapidly in the past few years. Photovoltaics has one major problem and which is that with the
variation of the operating conditions of the array, the voltage at which maximum power can be obtained from it also changes. In the thesis, a PV model
is used to simulate actual PV arrays behavior, and then a Maximum Power Point tracking method and wind energy system using Feed Forward Neural
networks is proposed in order to control the power. Further more,the proposed feed forward neural network technique using hybrid system is compared
with the ANFIS(adaptive neuro fuzzy interference system). Simulation results shows that the proposed feed forward neural network maximum power
point tracking method gives faster response than the ANFIS

over 2.5 million miles of paved roadway throughout the United States alone, even covering a fraction of those roadway surfaces with solar panels

applications. TiO2 nanomaterial is used as photoanode. The structure of the PEDOT: PPS film was investigated by atomic force microscope. This
DSSC behaves like Schottky diode at the dark condition. The photovoltaic behavior was studied in the light intensity range 5 – 130 mW/cm–2. This

energy from the sun to heat a working fluid in an electric generating cycle. Solar energy is one of the most important sources of energy we could have
because it is a non–polluting energy. This, in turn, helps in lessening the greenhouse effect. The most popular way to use solar energy is through the

While at work, I was also able to interview a customer who used to be in the solar panel business. His name is Henry Caldwell, and he used to work

The South African power crisis needs little introduction as most of us spend our nights in the shadows singing "Hello Darkness My Old Friend" and
''I've Got the Power '' in the hope that at some point the glorious rays of light will return. This energy crisis sees little end in sight and leaves the
people of our country with a need and responsibility to find alternative sources of energy – solar power is one of these solutions. Solar power is a
brilliant idea as it harnesses the power of the sun and converts it into electricity, however it is very costly and it is inefficient because only 11– 15% of
the energy harnessed is converted into electricity. Solar panels are generally fixed at one position, usually at the angle that one's roof slopes or at
some other predetermined fixed position. According to research, by moving the panel with the sun there will be a marked increase in the efficiency
and power output of the solar panel. It is also claimed that temperature will affect the amount of energy produced. Thus, this project will aim to find
out if there is a significant difference in efficiency as the sun moves around the solar panel and attempt to obtain the best possible efficiency by
moving the panel with the sun throughout the day. By knowing this, it can be used by South African citizens to increase power, lower costs, lower the
strain on ESKOM's grid and improve their investment in solar panels.
