  2. We rely on our hands to do so many things over the course of the day, but we only notice how much we use them when they no longer work so well. Ever gotten a sprain or a papercut?   3. What if your hand pained you, and didn't work like it used to, permanently? For millions of Americans with arthritis and Parkinson's, pain and loss of hand strength are facts of life.

  7. As her arthritis progresses, these are the products marketed to her condition. Spoons with velcro, bowls that suction cup to stick to the table, and what looks like a sippy cup. Is this a spread for a toddler, or for a cultured middle aged woman?
