13. Saying of the second Khaleefah of
Islam.
Umar bin Al-Khattab (ra) passed by some people, who were known
as readers of the Qur’an. He saw them sitting and bending their
heads, and asked who they were.
He was told: "They are those who depend (al-mutawwakiloon)
upon Allah (swt)."
Umar replied: "No, they are the eaters who eat the people’s
properties. Do you want me to describe those who really depend
upon Allah (al-mutawwakiloon) are?" He was answered in the
affirmative, and then he said: "He is the person who throws the
seeds in the earth and depends on His Lord The Almighty, The
Exalted (‘azza wa jall)."

Allah has promised those among you who believe and do
righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them
succession in the land, as He granted it to those before
them, and that He will grant them the authority to practice
their religion which He has chosen for them. And He will
surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear
if they worship Me and do not associate anything with Me.
But whoever disbelieved after this, they are the rebellious.)

Allah showed me the earth and I looked at the east
and the west. The dominion of my Ummah will
reach everywhere I was shown.

Ali ibn Abi Talib who says:

‫ر،ب‬َ‫ّن‬ ‫ع‬َ‫ّن‬ ‫ل‬ْ ‫ف‬ ‫ا‬
“When Allah ‫سبحانه‬‫تعتال ى‬ ‫و‬ ordered the Prophet to
approach the Arab tribes, I and Abu Bakr
accompanied the Prophet ‫صلى‬‫سلم‬ ‫و‬ ‫عليه‬ ‫هللا‬ to
Mina until the court of the Arab tribes.”

24. They (The Ansar) asked:
‫أ ا‬‫م‬َ ‫ف‬َ‫ه‬ُ ‫ف‬‫د‬َ ‫ا‬‫ي‬َ ‫ا‬ ‫ط‬َ ‫ا‬ ‫س‬َ ‫ا‬ ‫ب‬َ ‫ا‬‫ف‬َ ‫ا‬ .‫د.ك‬َ ‫ا‬‫ي‬َ ‫ا‬ ‫ط‬ْ ‫ي‬ ‫س‬ُ ‫ف‬ ‫ب‬ْ ‫ي‬‫ا‬ُ ‫ف‬ :‫لاوا‬ُ ‫ف‬‫ا‬‫ق‬َ ‫ا‬ .‫نُة‬ّ‫ُة‬‫ج‬َ ‫ا‬ ‫ل‬ْ ‫ي‬‫ا‬ ‫ل‬َ ‫ا‬ ‫قا‬َ ‫ا‬ (‫ك‬َ ‫ا‬ ‫ل‬ِ‫َك‬‫ذ‬َ ‫ا‬‫ب‬ِ‫َك‬) ‫نا‬َ ‫ا‬‫ي‬ْ ‫ي‬‫ف‬ّ‫ْي‬‫و‬َ ‫ا‬ ‫ن‬ُ ‫ف‬ ‫ح‬ْ ‫ي‬ ‫ن‬َ ‫ا‬ ‫ن‬ْ ‫ي‬ ‫إ‬ ‫لل‬ّ‫ِه‬ ‫ا‬ ‫ل‬َ ‫ا‬ ‫ساو‬ُ ‫ف‬ ‫ر‬َ ‫ا‬ ‫يا‬َ ‫ا‬ ‫ك‬َ ‫ا‬ ‫ل‬ِ‫َك‬‫ذ‬َ ‫ا‬‫ب‬ِ‫َك‬ ‫نا‬َ ‫ا‬‫ل‬َ ‫ا‬
‫ه‬ُ ‫ف‬‫عاو‬ُ ‫ف‬ ‫ي‬َ ‫ا‬‫با‬َ ‫ا‬‫ف‬َ ‫ا‬
"O Rasool Allah ‫صلى‬‫سلم‬ ‫و‬ ‫عليه‬ ‫هللا‬ , what is our reward if
we honour our word?” The Prophet ‫صلى‬‫سلم‬ ‫و‬ ‫عليه‬ ‫هللا‬
said: “Jannah”.
They responded: “Hold your hand”, so the Prophet ‫صلى‬
‫سلم‬ ‫و‬ ‫عليه‬ ‫هللا‬ held his hand and they made the pledge.

“And remember when you were few and were
reckoned weak in the land, and were afraid
that men might kidnap you, but He provided a
safe place for you, strengthened you with His
Help, and provided you with good things so
that you might be grateful.

“O you who believe! Betray not Allâh and His
Messenger, nor betray knowingly your
Amânât”
