Be part of a global event
to mark the first
anniversary of the 3.11
disaster in Japan.
‘Kizuna’ means the
bonds or connections
between people.
Feb. 11: Start collecting messages of support and encouragement from around the world.
Feb. 18: Show Ganbatte 365 video content with call for more messages.

Mar. 11: Special thank you video from Japan (shows messages on DOOH in Japan).
Mar. 16: End of Kizuna Project.
Your words of support on hundreds of outdoor digital screens in Japan.
Ganbatte 365 Kizuna Project Goals:
1) Let people around the world know how the renewal and recovery of Japan is progressing.
2) Raise awareness that while much has been accomplished in the first year, the hard work is still ongoing.
3) Let the people of Japan know that the world still remembers 3.11 and sends feelings of support and
encouragement for the ongoing challenge.
4) Give the people of the hard hit Tohoku region an opportunity to express their appreciation for the
World’s support and aid through cataclysmic times.
About the non-profit, Ganbatte 365:
Ganbatte 365 has made about 300
videos documenting the renewal and
recovery of Tohoku since mid-2011.
These videos are in Japanese and
English and are Creative Commons
licensed, to be used on media around
the world, especially Digital Out-Of-
Home media. The videos have had
millions of impressions, online and on
DOOH media at hundreds of
locations in Japan and abroad.

restrictions or minimums, but a period that includes March 11 is preferred, as we are trying to build to a
peak number of displays at that time.
