We have developed iHealthNY with the goal of supporting:
• Insanely quick access to personal health information
• Insanely simple yet secure ways to share the record with
other providers and family/friends
• Easy availability of additional web resources to satisfy
information needs that arise based on the information in
the patient record

• A ground-breaking Natural Language based search
interface to allow consumers to quickly find information
in their medical record
• One-click navigation design for viewing, sharing and
receiving updates in the patient portal
• Simplified access control specifications to make record
sharing easy
• Provide audio rendering of medical terms

additional information based on what the user is
