2. The problem or opportunity
Describe the current state of things. How things are now
and how that is a problem or opportunity to seize.

3. Value proposition
Explain what your solution or company solves and how
you solve that in a unique way.
Example: Uber
The smartest way to get around. One tap and a car
comes directly to you. Your driver knows exactly where to
go. And payment is completly cashless.
4. Your unique and magic solution
Describe more in detail how things work or even better
show it using an image, video or prototype.
Example: Youtube
Consumers upload their videos that are converted to
Flash video and Youtube takes care of serving the
content to millions of viewers. YouTube provides a
community that connects users to videos, users to users
and videos to videos.
5. Your business model
Describe who's money you are after and how you will
earn it.
Example: Net

Sells an online streaming service using recurring
payments on a monthly basis targeting private
customers.
6. Go to market plan
Describe how you will reach your customers in a realistic
and a
ff
ordable way. This can include a mix of actions.
Example: Dropbox (Incentives)
Invite your friend to join Dropbox, and for each one who
installs Dropbox we'll give you both 500 MB of bonus
space. If you need more space, upgrade your account.
7. The competition
Describe who your competitors are and what your
position is compared to them. Show how you are better
than the alternatives.
The biggest competitor is a lot of times not a similar
product but solving the problem in a di
ff
erent way or not
at all.
8. The team
Describe who you and your team are and why you will be
able to succeed with this project or company.
If the team is all there when presenting you should
already have presented yourself in the beginning.
9. Key metrics and finance
Describe your key metrics and your
fi
nancial projections
for the project. This doesn't need to be accurate but is
more about showing how you think.
This slide should also show how much money you need
to make this a reality.
10. Current status and timeline
Describe where you are now and what you think are the
next steps to make this come true.
11. End goal or exit strategy
If this is a presentation for investors you can tell them
how you plan on making them money. If its an internal
presentation you can state the end goal of what you are
doing on this slide.
Example: SpaceX
The ultimate goal of enabling people to live on other
planets.
12. Thank you!
This can be a good place to give your contact info and if
you present it live see if there are any questions.
