Paul has a degree in Land Economics and spent the first few years of his career working on large-scale development projects in Australia and the US.
In 1999, his career took him to Silicon Valley to develop a real estate portal and it was here, during the dot-com boom, that he conceived some of the core ideas for pureprofile.
Paul’s experience in Silicon Valley at the height of the Internet bubble taught him to think about each person's profile as an asset, just like property. In 2000, with an eagerness to start a new company despite the bursting bubble, he returned to Sydney to set up pureprofile.
