I have 10+ years of experience in project and people management in areas such as software process improvement (MPR.BR, CMMI), distributed software development, agile methodologies for software development (SCRUM, Lean Sw Dev, Extreme Programming), and science and technology. I'm also a software engineering researcher, grad and undergrad Professor, and a writer (two books published - 2007 and 2009 - related to distributed software development and project management).
